Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe UNS S32750 is a high-alloy duplex stainless steel with a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) exceeding 40. Known commercially as SAF 2507, this steel contains 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel. The dual-phase microstructure combines high mechanical strength with outstanding resistance to localized chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe UNS S32750 is magnetic, allowing easy differentiation from austenitic steels. It is widely used in high-chloride marine environments, desalination systems, oil and gas extraction pipelines, and chemical processing plants.
